The maker's story

It starts with stillness. Wood on the bench. A sound imagined but not yet real. Shaping begins. With hands, with care, with time.

My name is Arman Hashemi Damneh. From a quiet workshop nestled in the Swedish countryside outside Stockholm, I build guitars by hand — instruments for musicians seeking more than just a tool. They’re looking for a guitar with soul.

My journey

My journey began early. As a kid, I spent hours working with wood, drawn to how something so raw could become something so delicate. Years later, during an internship with a luthier, I found the path I’d been looking for. The connection between sound, material and craft felt completely natural.

I trained at The Academy of Musical Instruments in Stockholm, Sweden, where I deepened both my technical knowledge and my respect for tradition. Since then, I’ve focused on refining my craft and building guitars that not only sound great, but feel like home in your hands.

What matters in the making

I don’t mass-produce or cut corners. Every guitar is made with care. My aim is to build instruments that are played often, loved deeply, and meant to last a lifetime.

When you pick up one of my guitars, I want you to feel something. Stillness. Joy. Warmth. A sense that this instrument was made just for you.

Get in touch

I build a few guitars each year. Tell me a little about yourself and what you're after, and we’ll take it from there.
